Apple River Fort is open to the public daily from 9am to 4:30pm. Admission is free for pedestrians and $6 for car parking.

Today, the fort is open to tourists from Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm and on Saturday from 9am-4pm. Admission is free for visitors under eighteen years of age and for seniors sixty-five or older. There is also a fee for parking.
