Great Western Train Depot Museum Open 1:00pm-4:00pm Weekends May through October or by special appointment (Elizabeth Historical Society). Unique Elizabeth and railroad gifts are available. | 03 | Ride the Ups and Downs Saturday, May 3,2003 a 1 day bicycle ride on the scenic,hilly Illinois backroads of Jo Daviess County. Choose between 22/31/46/60 miles. Register between 7:30am – 9:00am at the Elizabeth Community Building on the west edge of Elizabeth, Rt 20. Fee $15 by April 27; $20 after. Includes well-marked color-coded maps, sag service, snacks on the route, plus food and drink coupons to be used in local establishments following the ride.
